Terms of use

Effective October 24, 2026 · Appify Visions Group LLC

In short

PassWell helps you learn, from the basics through the GED® and OET tests. Use it honestly, keep your account to yourself, and be kind to other learners. Paid plans renew until you cancel, and you can cancel any time from Profile. Practice scores are estimates, not promises.

1This agreement

PassWell is a product of Appify Visions Group LLC (“PassWell,” “we,” or “us”). These terms are the agreement between you and us for using PassWell at passwell.app or as an installed app. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information and is part of these terms.

By making an account or using PassWell, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use PassWell.

2Who can use PassWell

  • You can agree to these terms yourself if you're 18 or older.
  • If you're under 18, a parent or guardian has to agree to them for you, and they're responsible for how you use PassWell. PassWell asks for this when you sign up.
  • Children under 13 use PassWell only after a parent or guardian agrees: by making the child's account in Family, or by approving it from the email we send when a child signs up. See Children in the Privacy Policy. Under 13, learners can't join public leagues or duel strangers.
  • Accounts are for people. Don't make one with a script or for someone who hasn't agreed.

3Your account

  • Give accurate details and keep your password private. You're responsible for what happens in your account.
  • One person per account. Don't share, sell, or transfer it. Points, streaks, and league places belong to the person studying.
  • If you think someone else got into your account, change your password and write to support@appifyvisions.com right away.
  • Guest accounts, from a duel invite or the free OET Speaking check, are deleted after 30 days unless you make a full account.

4Plans, payments, and renewals

  • The free plan stays free: Unit 1 of every course, duels, leagues, and rewards. Paid plans (Plus and Family) and passes (OET and the week pass) open more.
  • Before you pay, you see the price, how often it's charged, and the currency. Prices depend on the country you're in. Where the law requires sales tax or VAT, checkout includes it or shows it.
  • Plans renew automatically. A plan renews at the end of every 3-month or yearly period at the price you agreed to, and your payment method is charged each time, until you cancel.
  • Cancel any time in PassWell, under Profile, then Manage billing. Canceling stops the next renewal, and you keep your plan until the end of the period you've paid for.
  • If the price of your plan goes up, we'll email you before your next renewal at the new price, so you have time to cancel.
  • Passes are one payment and don't renew. An OET pass opens OET prep (and everything in Plus) for 30 or 90 days. A week pass opens the same for 7 days. Buying another pass adds its days after the one you have.
  • On a Family plan, the parent who pays manages it and can add up to 5 children's accounts.
  • Promotion codes may have their own conditions and have no cash value.
  • Stripe processes payments. We never see or store your full card number.

Refunds

Payments aren't refundable, including for unused time on a plan you cancel, except where the law requires a refund. If we charged you by mistake, for example twice for the same plan or after you canceled, write to support@appifyvisions.com and we'll refund that charge.

5Practice tests and predicted scores

  • PassWell isn't affiliated with, endorsed by, or approved by the American Council on Education, GED Testing Service, or Cambridge Boxhill Language Assessment, which owns OET.
  • Lessons and practice tests follow the official GED® and OET tests' formats, but they aren't the official tests.
  • Predicted scores and grades are estimates. We don't promise that you'll pass or get a particular score.
  • You register and pay for the official tests with the organizations that run them.

6AI features

  • The AI tutor, essay and letter scores, and the OET role-play patient use AI. AI can be wrong, so check what matters against your lessons or a teacher.
  • AI scores are practice feedback, not official scores.
  • OET material is for practicing English. It isn't medical advice. Don't use it to make decisions about real patients.

7What you write

  • You own what you write in PassWell: essays, letters, answers, notes, reports, and names. You let us store, process, and show it only as needed to run PassWell for you. For example, we score your essay or show your first name in your league.
  • That permission ends when you delete it or your account, except for what others already saw, like a finished duel.
  • Don't post anything illegal, hateful, harassing, or sexual, or anyone else's private information. We may remove names or writing that break this rule.

8Fair play

Points come from studying. Each lesson, review, and test earns points once, wrong answers take a point off, and there's a daily cap. Don't:

  • use bots, scripts, or shared answers, or make extra accounts, to earn points, places, or rewards;
  • harass or impersonate other learners;
  • try to get into accounts, data, or parts of PassWell that aren't yours;
  • copy, scrape, share, or sell PassWell's lessons, questions, or tests;
  • reverse engineer PassWell, overload it, or get around its limits;
  • use PassWell to break the law.

We may remove points, league places, rewards, or accounts that do.

9Sponsors and rewards

  • A sponsor, like a family member, mentor, or employer, decides what points are worth and approves what you redeem. That arrangement is between you and your sponsor.
  • PassWell never holds or sends money. Sponsors pay learners directly, however they choose, and we aren't responsible if a sponsor doesn't.
  • Voucher numbers identify a request between you and your sponsor. They aren't gift cards and have no cash value.
  • When an employer sponsors you, US tax rules usually count cash and gift cards as taxable wages. The employer is responsible for reporting them.

10PassWell's content

PassWell's lessons, questions, practice tests, design, and software belong to us or the people we license them from, and are protected by copyright and other laws. You may use them for your own study in PassWell. Your feedback is welcome, and we may use it without owing you anything.

11Changes and ending

  • You can delete your account any time from Profile. That erases your study history for good and cancels any plan you pay for. Deleting doesn't refund the current period.
  • We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, puts others at risk, or when the law requires it.
  • We may change or remove features. If we close PassWell entirely, we'll tell you at least 30 days before and refund the unused part of any plan you paid for.

12No warranty

PassWell is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don't promise that PassWell will always be available or free of errors, or that its content is complete or always correct.

13Limits on liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Appify Visions Group LLC and its owners, employees, and partners aren't liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or opportunities (including a test result), arising from your use of PassWell.

Our total liability for any claim about PassWell is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or US$50. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.

If you break these terms or the law and someone makes a claim against us because of it, you agree to cover our reasonable costs of that claim.

14Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, USA, without regard to its rules on conflicts of law.

If you have a problem with PassWell, write to support@appifyvisions.com first, and we'll try to resolve it within 30 days. A dispute we can't resolve goes to the state or federal courts in New York, and you and we agree to their jurisdiction. You can also bring a claim in small claims court where you live, if it qualifies.

If you live outside the US, you keep any protections your local consumer law gives you that can't be waived.

15Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as PassWell changes, and the date at the top shows the latest version. If a change matters to you, like how billing works, we'll tell you by email or in the app before it takes effect. If you keep using PassWell after that, the new terms apply. If you don't agree, you can cancel your plan and delete your account.

16General

  • These terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and us about PassWell.
  • If a court finds part of these terms unenforceable, the rest still applies.
  • If we don't enforce a part right away, we haven't given it up.
  • You can't transfer these terms to someone else. We may transfer them if PassWell is sold or reorganized, and we'll tell you if that happens.
  • Questions about these terms or a charge? Write to support@appifyvisions.com.
